Zac Isaac, Chair
Zac Isaac serves on the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Health Board in his position as a member of the ³Ô¹ÏÍø
Board of Trustees. He was appointed a ³Ô¹ÏÍø Trustee in June 2022. Isaac is president
of the Isaac Property Co., a real estate development company. Prior to rejoining Isaac
Property Company in 2022, he served as executive officer of State Bank and Trust Company.
Jodi Miehls, Vice Chair
Jodi Miehls serves as a public member of the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Health Board. Miehls is the president
and chief operating officer of Block Communications, Inc. Her career at the company
also includes serving as chief financial officer, treasurer and corporate controller.Ìý
Dr. Imran Ali Ìý
Imran Ali, M.D., serves on the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Health Board in his position of Dean of the
³Ô¹ÏÍø College of Medicine and Life Sciences. Ali is professor and Clair Martig Endowed
Chair in the Department of Neurology. He joined the faculty of the then Medical College
of Ohio in 1996 and has held a number of administrative positions throughout his career,
most recently as vice dean for undergraduate medical education.
Dr. Eleanore AwadallaÌý
Eleanore Awadalla, D.D.S., serves on the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Health Board in her position as a
member of the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Board of Trustees. She was appointed a ³Ô¹ÏÍø Trustee in September
2019 and currently serves as vice chair. Awadalla has been a dentist serving the Toledo
community since 1985. She served two five-year terms on the Ohio State Dental Board
serving as president and secretary during her tenure.
Neema BellÌý
Neema Bell serves as a public member of the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Health Board. Bell is an attorney
and retired partner from Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick. A graduate of the ³Ô¹ÏÍø College
of Law, her career focused on federal statutory litigation, media law, employment
law and commercial litigation.
Dr. Charles Callahan
Charles Callahan, Ph.D., serves on the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Health Board in his role as executive
vice president for health affairs. Appointed in February 2025, Callahan is the first
leader in this new role overseeing ³Ô¹ÏÍø Health and leading strategic growth of
the institution’s healthcare enterprise throughÌýcollaboration between the University
of Toledo Medical Center, University of Toledo Physicians and the ³Ô¹ÏÍø College
of Medicine and Life Sciences.
Stephen P. CiucciÌý
Stephen P. Ciucci serves on the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Health Board in his position as a member of
the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Board of Trustees. He was appointed a ³Ô¹ÏÍø Trustee in September 2018
and previously served as chair. Ciucci is the president of Stone Circle Group, a consulting
and advisory firm focused on supporting small to middle market industrial firms. Prior
to this role, Ciucci was president and CEO of Toledo Molding & Die, Inc., a Tier 1
automotive supplier of interior and air/fluid management systems.Ìý
Cleves DelpÌý
Cleves Delp serves as a public member of the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Health Board. Delp is the owner
and founder of TFO Wealth Partners and has spent his career in the financial services
industry with notable impact in wealth management and advisory services. Ìý
Dr. Danae HamoudaÌý
Danae Hamouda, M.D., ³Ô¹ÏÍø Health medical oncologist and associate professor in
the ³Ô¹ÏÍø College of Medicine, serves on the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Health Board in a role designated
for clinical faculty members. A ³Ô¹ÏÍø alumna, Hamouda received her bachelor’s degree
and Doctor of Medicine from ³Ô¹ÏÍø where she also completed her internal medicine
residency and medical oncology fellowship. She joined ³Ô¹ÏÍø in 2018.
Dr. Pam HeatonÌý
Pam Heaton, Ph.D., serves on the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Health Board in her position of dean of the
³Ô¹ÏÍø College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Services in the role reserved for a
dean of a health sciences college other than the medical school. Heaton joined ³Ô¹ÏÍø
in 2022 from the University of Cincinnati where she had served as interim dean and
chair of the Division of Pharmacy Practice.
Dr. James Holloway
James Holloway, Ph.D., serves on the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Health Board in his position of president
of The University of Toledo. A nuclear engineer, Holloway joined ³Ô¹ÏÍø in July 2025 as its 19th president following a national
search. His career has been a mix of research, teaching, administration and global work, including
in India, Ethiopia and Ghana.
Jeannie HylantÌý
Jeannie Hylant serves as a public member of the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Health Board. Hylant is the
executive vice president at Hylant and leads the insurance firm’s hospitality and
franchise practice.
Patrick J. Kenney
Patrick J. Kenney serves on the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Health Board in his position as a member of
the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Board of Trustees. A Registered Investment Advisor, he runs a financial advisory practiceÌýassisting individuals and corporations in a variety of financial issues and has built
a strong reputation in the industry specializing in tax-advantaged investment planning.
Dr. Stephanie PannellÌý
Stephanie Pannell, M.D., ³Ô¹ÏÍø Health colorectal surgeon and assistant professor
in the ³Ô¹ÏÍø College of Medicine and Life Sciences, serves on the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Health
Board in a role designated for clinical faculty members. Pannell joined ³Ô¹ÏÍø in
2016. She also serves as associate chief medical officer and director of the surgery
clerkship program. Ìý
Matthew J. SchroederÌý
Matthew J. Schroeder serves on the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Health Board in his position of executive vice president for finance and administration and chief financial officer
(CFO). A ³Ô¹ÏÍø alumnus, Schroeder has spent his career serving the institution with experience
in leadership roles across the University’s finance, administration and fundraising
operations. He served as interim president from May 2024 to July 2025.
Dr. Gerald ZelenockÌý
Dr.Gerald Zelenock serves as a public member of the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Health Board. Dr. Zelenock
is a vascular surgeon who spent part of his career at ³Ô¹ÏÍø serving as professor
and chair of the Department of Surgery from 2006 to 2015. During his career he also
served the University of Michigan and Beaumont Hospital. Ìý
